Color theory explored

David Gallup, vice president of the California Art Club, will teach a four-day color theory workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 17, 18, 24 and 25 at the Harbor Village Gallery, 1591 Spinnaker Drive, Ste. 117C, Ventura.

The workshop will focus on Impressionist color theory and application, color mixing and palette use, and using simple music theory to find harmonic chords in color.

This workshop is open to all oil painters, beginning through advanced.

The workshop costs $400 and is limited to eight participants.
