A car parked in the 900 block of W. Ventura Boulevard was burglarized sometime between June 29 and 30. An undisclosed amount of property was taken from the car.

Vandals set fire to a car parked near the intersection of Center Road and Walnut Avenue in Somis on June 29.

Also on June 29, vandals stole a "No Parking" sign from the intersection of Via Marquesa and Avenida Gaviota.

Vandals damaged the mailbox at a business in the 4000 block of Via Pescador June 29 or 30.

A vandal broke a garage door and window in the 3000 block of E. Landen Street on June 30.

A thief stole an undisclosed amount of property from two unlocked cars parked in the 900 block of Crestview Avenue on June 30.

A 20-year-old man was arrested June 30 after police stopped him near the intersection of Verdugo Way and Santa Rosa Road for alleged speeding and reckless driving. Police said the man was also in possession of illegal fireworks.

A 38-year-old man and a woman in her late 30s stole shower heads, vanity light fixtures, toilet, sink, ceiling fans, mirrors, a chandelier and other interior items from a home in the 1700 block of Ridgewood Drive sometime between June 30 and July 1. Value of the stolen items was about $6,000. According to police, the couple was living in the home which had been bought by another man following a bank foreclosure. The new homeowner allowed the couple to temporarily remain in the home until they could find alternate housing. During their extended stay, the couple ransacked the home.

Someone stole a $400 laptop computer from the desk of a worker at Blue Cross Medical Co., 5153 Camino Ruiz St., on June 30 or July 1.

Someone stole a $5,500 wedding ring from a dressing room at Anne Taylor women's clothing store on July 1.

Vandals threw eggs at a car parked near the intersection of Bradford Avenue and Ponderosa Drive, causing about $1,000 damage sometime between July 1 and 3.

Additional eggs were tossed at a car parked in the 6800 block of Calle Tania and the car's paint was scratched between July 1 and 3.

Vandals stole a street sign near the corner of Placita Buena Rosa and Rancho Calluegas on July 2.

A 41-year-old man was arrested July 3 at a motel in the 1100 block of E. Ventura Boulevard on an outstanding warrant stemming from violation of probation charges.

Vandals set fire to a pair of vending machines at Adolfo Camarillo High School July 3.

A shoplifter was arrested July 3 for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise from Target, 209 W. Ventura Blvd.

According to police reports, two 20-year-old men were arrested July 4 for threatening a driver with knives during a road rage incident near the intersection of Buena Mesa Court and Colony Drive. Police said the men hid their faces with bandanas. They also were cited on multiple charges of alcohol and drug possession.

Vandals threw a glass soda bottle at a car parked in the 2200 block of Glenn Brook Drive on July 4.

Vandals threw a rock at a car parked in the 5900 block of Joshua Trail on July 4. Cost of damage to the car was estimated at around $700.

Vandals caused more than $400 in damage to a car parked in the 5400 block of Castillo De Rosas on July 4.

Someone broke into a van owned by a plumbing company in the 600 block of Via Alondra sometime between July 4 and 5.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested July 5 for biting and scratching her boyfriend during a fight near the intersection of Beardsley and Wright roads.

A 60-year-old man was arrested July 5 in the 1000 block of Calabria Court for allegedly making criminal threats.

Dawn Allen, a 43-year-old Camarillo woman, allegedly bit a 67year-old woman on the hand during a fight in a residence in the 6400 block of Lada Court on July 5.

A 19-year-old man was arrested July 5 in the 5200 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard on two counts of commercial burglary for allegedly trying to cash in stolen "Coinstar" receipts.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on domestic battery charges July 6 near the intersection of Dawson Drive and Petit Street.

Sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on July 6, a burglar broke into an apartment in the 500 block of Rosewood Avenue by forcing open a sliding window and locked bedroom door. The burglar stole about $3,000 in jewelry and $200 cash.

Vandals caused more than $400 in damage to a car parked in the 100 block of Tree Fern Court sometime between July 6 and 7.

A 29-year-old man was arrested July 7 in the 50 block of Ramere Street on a warrant stemming from charges based on his alleged illegal residence in the United States.

Someone smashed the window of a car parked in the 600 block of Ventura Boulevard and stole the indash DVD player on July 7.

A shoplifter was arrested July 7 for allegedly attempting to steal about $275 in merchandise from Target, 209 W. Ventura Blvd.

A thief stole some $800 in diesel fuel and $1,200 in monitoring equipment from Baron Bros. Nursery, 4395 Bradley Road, on July 7 or 8.

Someone stole an undisclosed amount of property from an unlocked car parked in the 4400 block of Leatherwood Street between July 7 and 8.

A car parked in the 600 block of Ventura Boulevard was burglarized July 8.

Between June 30 and July 9, police reported arresting 18 people for driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, six people were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and 12 were arrested on various drug charges.
