I was interested in the story in the Camarillo Acorn about the pit bull attack in Camarillo and was moved by fury to write this letter. I have long found Kathy Jenks, director of Ventura County Animal Regulation, to be an insufferable bureaucrat, but she has taken the cake on this one. More ... When we, the people of the neighborhood near the Camarillo Community Center, were made aware of the Park and Rec planning of the proposed park, I thought how great it was to live in a city that actually cared about how we felt about having a dog park in our neighborhood.
