I am a grandparent of a student in fourth grade at Los Senderos Open School. It has been a wonderful environment for her since kindergarten, and we were looking forward to her continuing there through eighth grade. More ... I am writing in support of the charter to preserve and enhance the wonderful, 30year open education program. It's a program that proved to be such a cornerstone for my friends when they moved to Camarillo as newlyweds more than 10 years ago. Their dreams were to raise children in a community with a progressive stance on education. More ... Speaking as a concerned parent, grandfather and resident of Camarillo, I strongly urge the Pleasant Valley School Board to approve the Camarillo Academy of Progressive Education (CAPE) charter school without delay.
