Celebrate Hanukkah at harbor

The Chabad of Camarillo and Chabads of Oxnard and Ventura will host a communitywide Hanukkah celebration from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Sun., Dec. 17 at the Ventura Harbor. The Menorah Lighting Ceremony will begin at 4 p.m.

Public dignitaries and community leaders will attend the ceremony and assist in kindling the 20-foot menorah

The festival will feature Hanukkah gifts and treats, musical entertainment, a children's show, hot latkes and kosher food, pony and train rides, an olive oil press demonstration and a Judaica Boutique.

Chabad of Camarillo is having a senior Hanukkah party at 2 p.m. Mon., Dec. 18 at 5800 Santa Rosa Road, Ste. 112, behind Bank of America. There will be musical entertainment, hot latkas, doughnuts and a menorah lighting. Admission is free.
