Come to the Camarillo house for the holidays

The historic 1892 Camarillo Ranch House, where there are Christmas trees in almost every room during the holidays, will be open to visitors all four Wednesday evenings during December from 7 to 9 p.m. A voluntary contribution of $5 is suggested.

The Ranch House, built by the city of Camarillo's founder, Adolfo Camarillo, will also host visits from St. Nicholas from 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday before Christmas. Punch and cookies will be served. In addition, seasonal music

will be provided by a variety of performers. A quartet playing recorders will play Wed., Dec. 6, and the Rio Mesa High School Choir will appear Dec. 13. A band under the direction of Susan Wisuri will play on Dec. 20. The band members will lead guests in singing carols.

Members of the Camarillo Quilters Association will display their works on Dec. 6 and there will be a display of antique toys on Dec. 20.
