Library exhibit to celebrate children Sokka Gakkai InternationalUSA will host a free exhibit titled "Children Are the Future" from 3 to 9 p.m. Tues., Dec. 5 in the Adolfo Room at the Camarillo Library, 3100 Ponderosa Drive, Camarillo. The youth division will par ticipate in a ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m. Guest speakers are scheduled as well as a performance by the group's Sunflower Chorus. Refreshments will be served. SGIUSA is an American Buddhist movement that promotes peace, culture and education. It has been in the city of Camarillo since 1960 and is a nongovernment organization with formal ties to the United Nations. There are more than 1,000 members in Camarillo, Port Hueneme, Oxnard, Ventura and the Ojai Valley. |
