County receives AIDS grant

Ventura County AIDS Partnership received a three-year, $120,000 grant from the California Endowment's Community Health and Elimination of Health Disparities program.

The grant will be used to engage local Latino leaders in community

organizing and advocacy. The project hopes to change community norms and physical environments that place Latinos at high risk for contracting HIV/AIDS.
