Blood drive

The United Blood Services Ventura Blood Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Fri., Nov. 24. The center is at 1756 Eastman Ave., Ventura.

Appointments can be made at (800) 715-3699. Walk-in donors will also be taken. The process takes about an hour.

Blood drives are also scheduled throughout the county.
