Creche displays help homeless

More than 500 Nativity scenes will be displayed through the weekend of Dec. 1 to 3 at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 155 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Admission to the grand opening gala, 6 to 9 p.m. Fri., Dec. 1 in the church hall, includes live entertainment, a silent auction and children's activities. A donation of $20 is requested in advance or $25 at the door.

Exhibit hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sat., Dec. 2 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun., Dec. 3. Donations requested are $5 for adults and $1 for children.

The funds raised will go to help homeless shelter programs of Ventura County.
