Jewish singles weekend

Chabad of Oxnard is sponsoring a Shabbat Weekend for Jewish singles ages 35 and up on Fri. and Sat., Dec. 1 and 2 at the Chabad of Oxnard Jewish Center, 3810 Channel Island Blvd.

Guest speakers include Alan Dauer, MD, and his wife, marriage and family therapist Mikhla Dauer. They will give workshops on such topics as "Living a Joyful Life, Married or Not," The Dating Process: Enjoy It" and "Why Marry? The Jewish Approach."

The cost is $95 for the entire weekend program and does not include housing. Financial assistance is available and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
