Methodist youth to present program

The youth and children of the Camarillo United Methodist Church will present an adaptation of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" from 4 to 5 p.m. Sat., Dec. 2 in the church fellowship hall, 291 Anacapa Drive. The program is free.

The musicians range from kindergarten to junior high school students. In addition, the Chapel and Youth Bells and Cherub Chimes will share sea

sonal music on bells and chimes. The Joyful Notes and Journey Singers will sing traditional holiday favorites.

According to event organizers, guests will "experience the joy as the gang finds the true meaning of Christmas amidst the glitz and tinsel of a commercial Christmas."

The event is for the whole family. Craft activities will be available for children. Guests are asked to bring a favorite finger food dessert to share.

For more information, call Dr. Lynn Decker-Mahin, church music director, at (805) 4824312 or email drlynn@camumc.org.
