Rio Mesa girls win a quarterfinal thriller

DRAMATIC COMEBACK-Jessica Vizents, a freshman on the Rio Mesa girls' tennis team, hits a ground stroke during Tuesday's CIF-Southern Section Division IV quarterfinals against Quartz Hill. After finishing the match with a 9-9 tie, the Spartans advanced on points 79-78. At one time, Rio Mesa trailed Quartz Hill by three sets. RMHS played Valencia High in yesterday's semifinals.
