Ventura Harbor to sparkle with lights at parade
Event includes a carnival and a visit from St. Nick

Best known for its cozy, beachside atmosphere, Ventura bursts with activity during the holiday season, inviting visitors and locals alike to welcome in the holiday spirit at Ventura Harbor's annual Parade of Lights festival.

The two-day celebration, set for Fri., Dec. 1 to Sat., Dec. 2, marks the 30th anniversary of this fun-filled occasion.

Guests can enjoy the revelry as boats adorned with Christmas lights and decorations illuminate the Ventura Harbor and watch as colorful fireworks fill the night sky. Parents are sure to be jolly at

the family carnival where tots will enjoy pony and train rides, a carousel and a visit with Santa.

Festival admission is free and a water taxi is available near Harbor Boulevard and Schooner Drive.
