'Unspoken Worlds' on exhibit
Dorothea Heger's work shown nationally, internationally

Dorothea Heger's abstract exhibit, "Unspoken Worlds," runs from Tues., Nov. 14 through Sat., Dec. 9 at the Buenaventura Gallery, with an opening reception on Sat., Nov. 18 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Born in Bavaria, Germany, Heger studied at the California Art Institute.

Her work has been shown in national and international exhibitions as well as solo exhibits in Germany.

Heger recently was accepted into the 15th annual Juried Exhibition sponsored by the Interna

tional Society of Experimental Artists at the DeVos Museum in Marquette, Mich.

Her work was also featured in the Pen Woman magazine published by the National League of American Pen Women.

The Buenaventura Gallery is at 700 E. Santa Clara St. in downtown Ventura.

Hours are Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
