Gala at Ranch House

The sixth annual Camarillo Ranch Holiday Candlelight Gala will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Fri., Dec. 1 at the historic Camarillo House and Ranch. The event will feature food from five caterers, live and silent auctions, special exhibits and tours of the Camarillo House decorated for the holidays.

Special exhibits will be four of the Camarillo family's silver saddles and two of Adolfo Camarillo's riding outfits. The 1905 mule barn and gardens will be lit and decorated, and there will be carriage rides around the circle driveway.

Some of the special auction items include a selection of private, catered events at the Camarillo House, golf packages, vacation getaways, paintings and decor items, sports events tickets, stays at resorts and hotels, and unique gift baskets.

K.C. Lawrence will be the live auctioneer, and David Smith will be the master of ceremonies.

Visitors will receive a 10 percent discount on selected items at the gift shop.

Tickets are $65 per person in advance by reservation through Wed., Nov. 29, and $70 after Nov. 29 and at the door.

Dress will be cocktail attire or period dress, with black tie optional.

The gala is the Camarillo Ranch Foundation's major fundraiser of the year. All proceeds will benefit the work of the foundation in preserving, restoring and operating the Camarillo House and Ranch.
