Vets to honor their own

Veterans with American Legion Post 741 will honor the men and women of the United States armed forces during a Veterans Day memorial service at 11 a.m. on Sat., Nov. 11 in Constitution Park near city hall.

Roy Nichols, a retired Air Force senior master sergeant, said he expects up to 150 people to attend the 13th annual event. Nichols said the event will in

clude a guest speaker, music and a short ceremony to honor America's veterans.

The event is open to the public; all are welcome.

The American Legion is the largest veterans service organization in the United States and has almost 3 million members worldwide. Post 741 represents nearly 600 vets throughout Camarillo.
