Local fiddler to perform

Ashley Broder, who graduated from Las Colinas Middle School and attended Camarillo High School and Moorpark College, will be performing a combination of bluegrass and Celtic selections with her duo partner, Jamie Laval, at Caltech's Beckman Institute in Pasadena at 8 p.m. Sat., Nov. 4.

Broder is an award-winning Texas-style fiddler and two-time western states picking champion, while Laval is the U.S. Scottish fiddling champion.
