Pro Gallegly

We hear so much about "our broken government"-the deceit, moral decay, decadent actions, finger-pointing in the legislative, judicial and executive divisions of our governing bodies. These disturbing trends rightly should be acknowledged.

But for this very reason, it is imperative to support those elected officials who resist these tendencies and whose lives hold fast to principles of high ethical standards such as honesty, integrity, and upholding the laws of our land.

For this reason, we are supporting Elton Gallegly as our 24th district representative. We have known and worked as volunteers for him for more than six years and have found him to have all of those qualities we find imperative for good government. He has shown strength in working for what is right for our nation in these times of trials of great magnitude.

We are once again expressing our strong support for the reelection of Congressman Elton Gallegly. He has a 20-year record of working effectively for his constituents. He has demonstrated the ability to work with members of both parties in Congress. He has spoken out on issues of the day, at times well in advance of when Congress finally took some action. The problems created by outof-control illegal immigration are but one example.

In the past week or so, letters from supporters of his opponent have castigated the National Humane Society for its endorsement of Gallegly for his work in the area of animal welfare. This endorsement does illustrate the widespread support Elton Gallegly has, both with individuals and organizations. He has this support because he has done a fine job on a great number of important issues as our congressman.

Elton Gallegly's experience at this time in our country's history is both necessary and invaluable. Keep Gallegly in Congress.
