A burglar broke into a home on the 400 block of Via Olivera and stole an undisclosed amount of property between Oct. 16 and 17.

Someone used personal information taken from a victim who lives on the 70 block of San Miguel Drive and used it to make over $2,000 in purchases between Oct. 16 and 17.

Sometime between Oct. 17 and 18, someone siphoned $30 worth of gasoline from a vehicle parked at the Kinder Care school at 2360 Pickwick Drive.

Between Oct. 17 and 18, Michael Goldberg, assigned to the Ventura County Work Furlough complex at 500 Eubanks St., escaped from the facility.

While the home was being fumigated, burglars entered the open window of a residence on the 1000 block of Gracia Street and stole a plasma television a cable box worth nearly $2,000 sometime between Oct. 20 and 21.

Someone stole a laptop computer from Pacific Camps daycare facility at 380 Mobile Ave. sometime between Oct. 20 and 23.

Someone cut the gas line of a vehicle parked at Performance Materials Corp. at 1150 Calle Suerte and siphoned $10 in gas from the vehicle sometime between Oct. 20 and Oct. 24.

Vandals spray painted the wall of a business on the 2000 block of East Ventura Boulevard sometime between Oct. 20 and 23.

A burglar broke into a vehicle parked on the 200 block of Granada Street and stole a purse from the trunk sometime between Oct. 22 and 23.

A vandal damaged two storage containers at the Emerald Mist Berry Farms sometime between Oct. 22 and 23, causing $200 in damages.

Someone stole a laptop and purse from the reception desk of a business on the 700 block of Calle Plano on Oct. 23.

A known suspect was caught stealing about $2,500 from the cash registers of Vons supermarket between June 1 and Oct. 24.

Burglars stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 800 block of Arneill Road on Oct. 25.

A team of shoplifters were stopped from stealing several thousand dollars of jewelry from the display counter at Lumar Jewelers at 2086 E. Ventura Blvd. on Oct. 25.

Someone broke the window of a vehicle parked at the corner of Brently Avenue and Sonora Drive sometime between Oct. 25 and 26 and stole an undisclosed amount of property.

Vandals spray painted a wall on the 100 block of Gardenia Avenue sometime between Oct. 25 and 29.

Someone broke into a vehicle parked on the 1000 block of Daily Drive on Oct. 27 and stole various personal items.

Vandals spray painted a fence of a home on the 1100 block of Baywood Court on Oct. 27.

Someone tried to booby trap a vehicle parked on the 200 block of Alosta Drive by placing a pressurized aluminum can of propane fuel underneath the vehicle's exhaust pipe. According to police, the propane fuel could explode after being heated by the exhaust pipe, causing injury or death to the driver. The propane can was put on the vehicle sometime between Oct. 27 and 28.

Someone damaged cable wiring at a construction site on the 400 block of East Ventura Boulevard sometime between Oct. 27 and 30.

Vandals spray painted the wall of a business on the 400 block of Camarillo Center Drive on sometime between Oct. 27 and 30.

A thief stole a cellphone and wallet from a purse being carried by a woman in the Payless Shoes store at 351 W. Ventura Blvd. on Oct. 28.
