A known suspect forged two checks written from Beachside Cos. store at 295 Willis Ave. between Sept. 7 and Sept. 13. Total dollar loss for the store was about $1,300.

Sometime between Sept. 9 and Sept. 13, someone entered a home on the 3400 block of West Street in Somis through an unlocked window and stole an undisclosed amount of property.

Credit card information stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Via Olvera was used to purchase about $750 in merchandise over the Internet between Sept. 11 and Sept. 13.

Between Sept. 11 and Sept. 15, a thief entered a residence on the 2800 block of Barry Street on two separate occasions and stole a piggy bank and cash from a pillow case inside the home.

A vehicle was stolen by a known suspect from the 100 block of Barcelona Street on the night of Sept. 14.

Someone broke into a vehicle parked on the 200 block of Reddington Court on the night of Sept. 15 and stole a purse.

Between Sept. 15 and Sept. 18, vandals caused nearly $400 in damage to Dos Caminos School at 3635 Appian Way.

Thieves stole an unspecified amount of property from the Oilstop car maintenance shop at 400 Las Posas Road on Sept. 16.

Vandals broke the front glass window of the Check-N-Go check cashing business at 377 Arneill Road on Sept. 16.

Shoplifters were caught trying to steal items from the Target store at 209 W. Ventura Blvd. on Sept. 16.

Someone caused $2,000 in damage by driving through a strawberry field at the corner of Pleasant Valley and Dodge roads on the night of Sept. 16.

Someone broke into a home on the 5300 block of Heather Street on Sept. 16. Nothing was taken from the home.

A bicycle was stolen from a home on the 2200 block of Gorman Street on the night of Sept. 16.

Thieves broke into a vehicle parked on the corner of Sevilla Street and Paseo Loma on Sept. 17 and stole various items.
