Faux Diamond to play

Bring the kids and introduce an entirely new generation to the memorable songs of Neil Diamond during a tribute concert to the ever-popular singer by Super Diamond at Constitution Park Sat., July 8 in Camarillo. There is a youth pre-show at 6:45 p.m., and the concert will being at 7:30 p.m.

The evening is part of the Camarillo Arts Council's summer concert and film series.

On Thurs., July 13 the Camarillo Community Band will perform a wide variety of musical favorites at 7 p.m. in Constitution Park.

Children will have an opportunity to "conduct the band."

The guest conductor will be Corey Nordal from the Simi Valley Unified School District, a top music educator for many years.
