Camarillo police make probation arrests

Officers from the Camarillo Police Department's Special Enforcement Detail, along with members of the Ventura County Probation Department, conducted probation searches at several locations in or about the city of Camarillo on June 29.

A total of 14 residences were searched by the two agencies to locate individuals on probation for graffiti-related charges.

Ronald Navarro, 21, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance at his residence in the 5300 block of Heather Street.

A male juvenile, 17, also was arrested for resisting arrest and possessing graffiti instruments.

Both the adult and the juvenile were released with citations to appear in court at a later date.
